Adam Christian

Adam Christian is the co-founder and CEO of Stateful. Prior to Stateful, they served as the VP of Engineering at Buoyant, Inc., leading the engineering team that develops Linkerd (linkerd.io) and Buoyant Cloud (buoyant.cloud). Adam's mission is to build a secure and reliable future for complex software systems.

Previously, Adam was the Executive Director of Technology at SinnerSchrader, leading the engineering organization at the SinnerSchrader Munich location. Adam was responsible for hiring and on-boarding, defining and championing development best practices and process, and day-to-day operations of the office, pitching new clients and supporting scrum teams in their execution of on-going projects.

Before SinnerSchrader, Adam served as the VP of Engineering at Betable and Sauce Labs. At Betable, they oversaw all aspects of the engineering team, from product design and development to QA and ops. At Sauce Labs, they helped grow the engineering team from 4 to over 60 engineers while also increasing customer satisfaction scores from 68% to 95%.

Adam started their career as a Senior Software Engineer at Slide, where they worked on developing automation tools. Adam then became a contractor at Mozilla Corporation, working on various projects related to software engineering.

Adam Christian began their educational career by studying business administration with a focus on entrepreneurship at Washington State University. Adam then went on to study computer science with a focus on software engineering at the same university.
