Software Engineer at Stateless

Ernesto Illescas-Pelaez began their work experience in 2011 as a Project Coordinator for DGESPE, a position they held until June 2013. In 2015, they worked as a Guest Artist at Casa Vecina for a period of seven months. From 2016 to 2020, Ernesto worked at Accessalud as a Lead Software Engineer and System Administrator. During this time, they also served as the Academic Coordinator for the Diploma in Electronic Arts at Centro Cultural Border from January to September 2016. Ernesto's most recent role is as a Software Engineer at Stateless, starting in March 2020. Throughout their career, Ernesto has also pursued independent work as a Composer from 2000 to 2016.

Ernesto Illescas-Pelaez earned a Master's degree in Musical Composition from the Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten, which they attended from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, from 1997 to 2003, they obtained a Licentiate degree in Music Theory and Composition from CIEM. In the same period, they also pursued studies at Trinity College London, where they acquired a Licentiate degree in Compositional Techniques, although the specific years are not specified.
