Susanne Karlsson is currently the Head of Communications at Statens geotekniska institut, SGI - Swedish Geotechnical Institute, since December 2022. Prior to this role, Susanne held various communication positions at Polisen from March 2016 to December 2022, including Strategic Communications Officer for Police District Östergötland and Senior Communications Coordinator at Police Region Öst - Swedish Police Authority. Susanne also served as a Communications Coordinator at the Swedish National Forensic Centre and held the position of Information Manager at Linköping University from November 2008 to March 2016. Earlier career experience includes leadership roles in web management at SVT, Företagarna, and Ledarna, along with a web editor position at Tidningen Du&jobbet. Susanne is pursuing a Master's degree in Social Science with a major in Risk Management at Karlstad University and holds a Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Education from Stockholm University, complemented by education from Berghs School of Communication and IHM Business School.
