Since October 2016, Marianne has held leadership positions at Statens pensjonskasse, overseeing how physical spaces and technology interact with employee responsibilities. Previous roles include serving as a specialist in interior and layout at Totalreform AS and NEAS ASA, where responsibilities included procurement strategy, project management, and quality assurance. We manage occupational pensions for current and former employees of government institutions, higher education (teachers), research institutions, pharmacies and other organizations connected to the public sector. We are an organization under the Norwegian Department for Employment and Inclusion and our mandate is set by the Norwegian parliament. We manage pensions for around 1.300 organizations and more than 1.1 million current and former employees in the public sector. The SPK scheme is a pay-as-you-go system financed by contributions from employees, employers, and the Norwegian state. We are 500 emloyees, located in Skøyen, Oslo.
