Christian Berg Skjetne holds a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, where studies were completed from 2005 to 2015. Christian serves as a Senior Engineer at Statens vegvesen since September 2015. Prior to this role, Christian worked as a Scientific Assistant at NTNU from 2013 to 2015, and held the position of Software Engineer at SINTEF from June 2010 to December 2012. Earlier experience includes a role as a Software Developer at Sensorlink from June 2007 to May 2010.

The Norwegian Public Roads Administration is responsible for the planning, construction and operation of the national and county road networks, vehicle inspection and requirements, driver training and licensing. It is also authorized to grant subsidies for ferry operations. The Public Roads Administration is under the leadership of the Directorate of Public Roads, which is an autonomous agency subordinated the Ministry of Transport and Communication. The Public Roads Administration encompasses five regional offices.
