Dr. Xu Xiang

Dr. Xu Xiang has a diverse work experience in the field of marine technology and hydrodynamics. Dr. Xu worked as a Senior Principal Engineer and Senior Engineer at Statens vegvesen, where they focused on solving technological challenges and developing alternative concepts for crossing wide and deep fjords. Dr. Xu also transferred offshore oil and gas technologies to develop floating bridges and submerged floating tunnels.

Dr. Xiang also worked as a Sensor/Examiner at Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet (NTNU), where they graded Master Thesis on marine technology. Dr. Xu held this position at the Department of Marine Technology from 2018 to 2021 and continued it from 2021 to 2024.

Dr. Xu also worked as a Naval Architect - Analysis and Model Test at China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIC).
