Martin Thynne

Martin Thynne is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as Group Commissioning Manager at Statera Energy since May 2025. Prior to this role, Martin held multiple positions at GTDS from January 2004 to May 2025, including Technical Director and Commissioning Manager. Martin's career began at GE Energy as Commissioning Lead from January 2003 to January 2004, overseeing the Commissioning Department, including test plan preparation and EHS documentation. Additionally, Martin worked at Commissioning Engineers Ltd. from January 1989 to October 2003, initially as Operations Manager and later as Lead Commissioning Engineer, leading various projects globally, including a secondment to ABB in Switzerland. Martin holds a BSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from North Staffordshire Polytechnic, where studies were undertaken from January 1982 to January 1986.
