Ben Heacker has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Ben began their career in 1991 as a Purchasing Agent at Rotech Healthcare (Taylor Home Health) and worked there until 1995. Following this, they joined Healthcore as an Assistant Branch Manager, where they contributed to various aspects of daily operations, sales, rentals, and repairs of home medical equipment. In 1999, they transitioned to Scooters Plus, Inc. as a Rehab Sales Technician.
In 2001, Ben became the Owner/Operator of Carson Medical Equipment, a role they held for almost a decade. During this time, they gained valuable experience in managing and operating the business. In 2009, they joined National HME, Inc. as an Operations Manager before being promoted to Regional Director of Operations in 2011. Ben oversaw multiple locations and played a key role in new location start-ups, including identifying real estate, procuring office and warehouse assets, and hiring and training new team members.
In 2014, Ben joined Hospice Pharmacy Solutions as the Director of Hospice Services, where they assumed responsibility for directing hospice-related operations. Ben later transitioned to StateServ Medical in 2015 as an Area Director of Operations. Lastly, in 2018, they briefly served as CEO/Managing Partner at EquinoxRX.
