Genevieve Kaplan

Genevieve Kaplan is a Regulatory Associate at Stateside Associates since May 2023, previously serving as Assistant to the Mayor in the Office of Kevin McNamee, where research on policy issues and speechwriting for the mayor took place. Kaplan held roles as a Research Associate and Publications Team Member at the Roosevelt Network at Berkeley, proposing policy solutions for US food deserts and collaborating with various organizations. Experience also includes leading as Team Captain for Carolyn Maloney for Congress, managing fellows and spearheading digital marketing efforts, and serving in multiple capacities at Congregation B'nai Shalom, including Administrative Assistant and Teacher. Additional positions include Public Affairs Intern at the Asian Pacific Islander American Public Affairs Association and roles in office management and tax assistance at California Health Institute and Sandler Powell Jacobs & Berlin, CPAs, respectively. Genevieve Kaplan earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of California, Berkeley.
