Reina Valenzuela, MBA, CGBP

Reina Valenzuela, MBA, CGBP has extensive work experience in strategic management consulting and business counseling. In 2009, they founded Starfish*Global, a company focused on providing services to small and mid-size companies looking to expand into global markets. Reina was responsible for business planning, market entry strategy, and supporting entrepreneurs in taking their businesses to the next level. In 2018, Reina joined the Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of NJ as the Head Coach of the Hispanic Entrepreneurship Training Program (HETP). Here, they provided guidance and support to Hispanic entrepreneurs.

Reina Valenzuela, MBA, CGBP completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Global Management from Kean University, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. Prior to their MBA, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Human Services from Thomas Edison State University, where they studied from 2000 to 2007.

In addition to their formal education, Reina Valenzuela has acquired several certifications to enhance their professional skills. Reina obtained the Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) certification from NASBITE International in June 2021. Reina also completed the Export and Trade Counselor certification from the U.S. Small Business Administration in December 2020. Other certifications include Growing Your Business with LinkedIn Pages from LinkedIn in October 2021, High Impact Partner Grow with Google from Google in October 2020, and CONSTANT CONTACT PARTNER CERTIFICATE from Constant Contact in August 2021.
