Gustavo Dornelas

Gustavo Dornelas has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Gustavo started their career as a Software Developer/Research and Development at EJCM Consultoria from March 2015 to October 2016. During this time, they were involved in the development of responsive web systems using technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, ES5, JQuery, Bootstrap, Laravel, and MySQL.

After that, Gustavo joined Radix Engenharia e Software in June 2019 as a Full Stack Software Engineer. Here, they developed web applications for automation and data processing using Java and Spring. Gustavo also had responsibilities in analyzing, producing, and updating technical documentation. Gustavo worked on enterprise-level projects, utilizing source code control and continuous deployment.

Subsequently, in January 2021, Gustavo was promoted to Backend Software Engineer at Radix Engenharia e Software, where their role involved building a cloud-based computing platform for commercial business operational and informational processes. Gustavo developed software to optimize critical systems and applications, migrating from a monolithic to a distributed event-driven architecture. Gustavo also gained experience in implementing and testing cloud-native software solutions and coaching team members.

Most recently, Gustavo joined Statista in July 2023 as a Java Software Developer.

Gustavo Dornelas completed a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (2018-2021). Prior to this, they also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2014-2017). Both of their degrees focused on the field of Information Technology.
