Hasan Imran

Hasan Imran has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Hasan is currently working as a Junior Platform Engineer at Statista since 2023. In this role, they are responsible for optimizing SQL databases, maintaining the data pipeline, and working in a scrum-based environment.

Before joining Statista, Hasan worked as a Junior Data Operations Engineer at the same company from 2022 to 2023. Here, they optimized SQL databases leading to a significant performance boost and worked on maintaining the data pipeline deployed on Jenkins.

Prior to that, Hasan was a Software Developer at IBM from 2021 to 2021. Hasan created and executed stress tests for databases, implemented a benchmarking strategy, and developed a test extension to increase efficiency.

Hasan also worked as a Software Engineer at RWTH Aachen University from 2020 to 2021. Hasan was involved in moving the organization's database to a model-based management tool and led the development of a model-based approach for checking exams. Additionally, Hasan worked as a Student Assistant at Software Modeling and Verification during this time.

In 2018, Hasan had a software development internship at Data Communication and Control (Pvt.) Ltd. Hasan led a team in developing a video-conferencing website and incorporated WebRTC technology.

Lastly, Hasan had a project development internship at Foundation of Computing and Sciences in 2017. Hasan assisted in designing a curriculum, managed social media, and documented team activities.

Hasan Imran earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the Institute of Business Administration, where they attended from 2015 to 2019. Afterwards, they pursued a Master's degree in Software Systems Engineering at RWTH Aachen University, from 2019 to 2021. In addition to their formal education, Hasan obtained certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2023, and Cloud Core and IBM Agile Explorer from IBM in July 2021.
