Marina Kurz has a diverse work experience in various roles. Starting in 2011, they worked as a Praktikant at pragmatic experts, where they conducted a research study on the usability of a website using Eye-Tracking technology. Marina then joined phaydon | research+consulting in 2013 as a Praktikant, assisting with UX-Research projects. In 2014, they moved on to Unicepta Medienanalyse GmbH, where they served as a Junior Projektmanager and later as a Projektmanager Medienresonanzanalysen until 2017. From 2017 to 2020, Marina worked as an Online Marketing Manager at WebID Solutions GmbH. Currently, they are employed at Statista as an SEO Manager OnPage & Tech, responsible for onsite optimization, monitoring and analyzing SEO performance, and conducting page speed analyses.
Marina Kurz obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Multimedia Production from Fachhochschule Kiel, where they studied from 2008 to 2011. Marina then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Markt- und Medienforschung from Fachhochschule Köln, completing their studies between 2011 and 2013. In 2010, Marina also obtained a European Project Semester Certification from Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (Spanien) during their time as a student. Additionally, they hold certifications in "Grundlagen des Onlinemarketings" from Google, which they obtained in March 2020, and "European Project Semester" as well.
