Anurag Sharma

Anurag Sharma is an experienced professional in power management and market operations, currently serving as Head of Power Sale & Market Operations at Statkraft since May 2020, where responsibilities include utility-to-utility business solutions and renewable energy certificate provisioning for large hydro plants. Previously, Anurag held various positions at BSES Delhi from April 2012 to May 2020, including General Manager for short-term power portfolio management and Deputy General Manager focusing on business strategy and operations. Anurag also has a background in power trading, having successfully implemented a rooftop solar project and established power exchange operations while at Reliance Energy Ltd from October 2004 to March 2012. Anurag is currently pursuing a Sustainability & Climate Risk certification from the Global Association of Risk Professionals and completed a leadership program with Statkraft in 2022.
