Thorsteinn Gestsson

Thorsteinn Gestsson has worked as a Lead Developer at Statkraft since September 2021. Prior to that, they were a Senior Consultant at Knowit from October 2017 to September 2021. Thorsteinn also served as a Senior Technical Advisor Sitecore at Eika from July 2016 to October 2017, and as a Senior Consultant at Knowit from September 2014 to June 2016. Before that, they worked as a Senior Consultant at EVRY ASA from January 2012 to September 2014, and as a Senior Consultant at Itera Consulting from May 2011 to December 2011. Thorsteinn's earlier work experience includes roles as a Software Developer at Vigor ehf from August 2006 to September 2009, and from September 1998 to October 2003.

Thorsteinn Gestsson attended NTV from 1997 to 1999, where they studied software development. Prior to that, they studied business, management, marketing, and related support services at Taekniskoli Islands (Technical University of Iceland) from 1995 to 1997. In 1987 to 1989, they attended the School of Marine Science and Engineering, specializing in navigation and maritime science. Additionally, Thorsteinn obtained a certification in "Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3" from Microsoft in November 2014.
