Tom James is a seasoned professional in the energy sector, currently serving as Senior Ownership Manager at Statkraft since August 2023. Prior to this role, Tom held various positions at Equinor from November 2018 to July 2023, including Vice President of Gas, Power & Low Carbon Market Analysis, where responsibilities included analyzing global markets and advocating for policies. Tom also led Digitalisation and Lean initiatives within Equinor’s renewable sector. Previous experience includes serving as Power Plant Manager at Sheringham Shoal Offshore Wind Farm under Statoil, alongside multiple project management roles focused on wind project development and IT systems implementation from 2010 to 2018. Tom holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Material Chemistry from the University of Oslo, earned between 2005 and 2007.
