Tyler Bains

Tyler Bains has a diverse work experience. Starting in 2014, they founded and served as the owner/lead instructor of Lonestar CPR and First Aid Training LLC, where they managed a team of 41 instructors and provided comprehensive CPR and First Aid training to thousands of participants each year. In 2019, Bains became the Editor In Chief at StatPearls.com. In 2021, they founded and co-owned Raider Mobility Care, LLC, a wheelchair transportation company, where they handled day-to-day operations and oversaw logistics management, financial processes, and contract relationships. In the same year, they also worked as a Travel Paramedic at Krucial Staffing, where they provided oversight on 911 responses and served as In-Charge Paramedic for a mobile intensive care unit. Tyler was selected as a Preceptor for Kilgore College and Christus's internal EMS students, training and assessing them on important paramedic skills and qualities. Currently, in 2022, Bains works as the South Central Program Development Manager at Prytime Medical Devices, Inc., covering accounts in the South Central region and working alongside Clinical Education Managers to change physician hearts and minds through data, storytelling, and relationship building.

Tyler Bains has a diverse education and certification history. In 2010-2011, they attended Texas Tech University, where they pursued a degree in Real Estate. Following this, from 2011 to 2013, they enrolled at South Plains College to obtain a degree in Paramedic, focusing on Emergency Medical Services.

In 2014, Tyler completed a CCEMTP course to earn their CCEMT-P certification in Critical Care Paramedicine. Alongside their educational pursuits, Tyler also obtained various certifications. In February 2014, they became a Texas Paramedic through the Texas Department of State Health Services, and in January 2014, they obtained their NREMT-Paramedic certification from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians. Additionally, in August 2014, they acquired the FP-C certification from the International Board of Specialty Certifications, and they also obtained the CCP-C certification from the same institution during the same month.

Tyler continued to expand their skills, receiving certifications in various areas. In April 2020, they became a Real Estate Broker/Sales Agent through the Texas Real Estate Commission. Then, in April 2022, they obtained the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (ICBB) certification from the Six Sigma Global Institute and the Inbound Sales Certified designation from HubSpot Academy.

Furthermore, Tyler has shown an interest in teaching, as they became an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Instructor, a Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) Instructor, and a Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Instructor, all from the American Heart Association.
