Kari Anita Brendskag

Kari Anita Brendskag is an experienced leader in the fields of education and healthcare, currently serving as Divisjonsdirektør at Statped since May 2022 and Avdelingsdirektør at Statped læringsressurser og teknologiutvikling since September 2018. With a diverse background that includes roles as Kommunalsjef oppvekst in Krødsherad kommune and Veileder in various national educational projects, Kari has demonstrated a strong commitment to developing educational programs and quality improvement in healthcare settings. Previous positions include Skolesjef in Sigdal kommune and Research and Development Leader at Ringerike sykehus HF, where significant contributions were made to establish a new hospital. Kari holds a Cand.ed degree from the University of Oslo and is pursuing a Master's degree in Educational Leadership at the same institution, reflecting a continuous dedication to professional development.
