Kristina Medin

Kristina Medin has over 25 years of experience in various leadership roles within governmental agencies. Currently serving as Avdelingsleder at Statped since December 2012, Kristina specializes in business management, statistics, and analysis. Previous positions include Avdelingsdirektør at Arbeids- og velferdsetaten and Arbeids- og velferdsdirektoratet, with responsibilities for the professional development of NAV's financial systems. Kristina also held the position of Seksjonsleder at NAV, overseeing budgeting and reporting processes, and served as Avdelingsdirektør for the Controlleravdelingen at Trygdeetaten, ensuring operational continuity during the establishment of NAV. Earlier in the career, Kristina was Kontorsjef in Rikstrygdeverket and Førstekonsulent at Folkehelseinstituttet, focusing on budget and personnel administration. Kristina Medin holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Uppsala University and a short course in Human Resources Management and Services from BI Norwegian Business School.
