Cristene Trenuela-Chan

Cristene Trenuela-Chan is an experienced professional with a strong background in project coordination and business management. Currently serving as a Portfolio Coordinator at Stats NZ, Cristene has been instrumental in establishing and managing the Legacy System Remediation Programme and the 2028 Census transformation programme. As Managing Director of Phoenix Fire Security & Electrical Ltd since 2010, Cristene oversees financial management, staff recruitment, and strategic development. Previous roles include Manager at Tenants Protection Association, Events & Funding Coordinator at Selwyn District Council, and various administrative positions in educational and hospitality sectors. Cristene holds a Certificate in Project Coordination from Project Plus and a Bachelor in Business Innovation and Enterprise from CPIT.
