Jessica Lin

Jessica Lin is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in design analysis, operations management, and research in bioengineering and technology development. Currently serving as a Senior Design Analyst at Stats NZ, Jessica leads training for teams of over 30 analysts and designs work plans and workflows. Previous roles include Head of Operations and Head of Product Development at Xerra Earth Observation Institute, where Jessica managed product engineering and introduced Agile methodologies. As a co-founder and Chief Scientist of FluentIQ, Jessica developed an innovative online English fluency test, leveraging machine learning. Jessica's background also includes significant research contributions in various roles across academic institutions and technology companies, earning a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of Canterbury.
