Michiel Jongsma

Michiel Jongsma has a diverse work experience in the sports media industry. Michiel started their career as a Student at Universiteit Utrecht from 2008 to 2013. In 2012, they worked as a Podcaster at Soccer Department, where they discussed football-related topics in Dutch. From 2013 to 2018, Michiel served as the Chief Editor of Dutch Football at benefoot.net. In 2013, they also started working at Perform as a Medior Editor for Opta Sports, and later took on roles such as Senior Data Editor, Senior Editor News Netherlands, and OptaPro Consultant. Michiel joined Stats Perform in 2019 and currently holds the position of a Senior Editor News (NL) and Data Insights Team Lead Netherlands.
