Majd Maksad

Majd Maksad has over 13 years of experience in the financial industry. In 2016, they founded and became the CEO of Status Money. From 2007 to 2016, they worked at Citi Cards in various roles, including Head of Analytics, Citi Global Digital Payments, SVP, Digital Analytics, SVP, Co-Brand Product Analytics, SVP, Regulatory and R&D Analytics, VP, High Risk Account Analytics, and VP, Portfolio Analytics. Prior to Citi Cards, they worked at Discover Cards from 2006 to 2007, in roles such as Senior Associate, Authorizations Analytics and Associate, Authorizations Analytics.

Majd Maksad attended American Community School Beirut from 2000 to 2005, earning a high school degree. Majd then attended Purdue University from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering and Economics. Finally, they attended Purdue University from 2005 to 2006, where they earned a Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering.
