Tessa Benitez

Tessa Benitez has extensive work experience in executive positions within various organizations. Tessa'scurrent role is Executive Director at the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons, which they began in 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of COO at Status Plus starting from 2013. In the same year, they also served as an Associate Executive Director at the Sexual Medicine Society of North America. From 2014 onwards, Tessa assumed the position of Executive Director at the International Society for the Study of Women's Sexual Health. Tessa then became an Associate Executive Director at the International Urogynecological Association in 2016. In 2017, they became the Executive Director of The Scientific Network on Female Sexual Health and Cancer. In 2020, they took on the role of Executive Director at both the Canadian Society for Pelvic Medicine and the International Pelvic Pain Society. In 2021, they began serving as the Executive Director of the North American Society for Psychosocial Obstetrics and Gynecology (NASPOG). Tessa's earlier work experience includes serving as the Association & Conference Manager at Status Plus from 2008 to 2013.

Tessa Benitez attended the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences from 1999 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Marketing & Sales. Following this, they attended Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2003 to 2006, where they studied Criminology.
