Jakub Sokołowski

Jakub Sokołowski has a diverse work experience in the field of IT infrastructure and system administration. Jakub started their career as an Intern-Trainee at BIS Izomar in 2010, where they provided technical assistance and developed VLAN configurations for a power plant.

From 2011 to 2013, Jakub worked as an IT Specialist at Trinity Corporate Services, where they monitored and maintained IT infrastructure, executed IT projects, and provided support to users and clients.

In 2012, they completed a contract work for Empirius Group, creating the entire IT infrastructure for a small office.

In 2013, Jakub joined Raiffeisen Polbank as a System Administrator, working on a data migration project and managing IBM AIX Unix servers and Oracle Data Integrator.

Jakub then worked at Ascen as a System Administrator and Developer from 2013 to 2014.

In 2014, Jakub played the role of a System Administrator at Codility before starting their own company, Jakub Sokołowski, where they served as the Owner.

From 2015 to 2018, they worked as a System Development Engineer at Amazon Web Services, gaining experience in this role.

Finally, Jakub joined Status in 2018, initially as a Senior DevOps & SysAdmin, and later as the Head of Infrastructure. In this position, they were responsible for managing and deploying scalable infrastructure, setting up continuous integration, and educating developers on ops and security.

Jakub Sokołowski began their education in 2005 at the High School of Joachim Lelewel. However, no degree or field of study information is available for this period. From 2007 to 2013, Jakub attended the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology, where they obtained an Engineer's degree in System and Network Programming.
