Dr. Florian Drawitsch

Dr. Florian Drawitsch is currently working as a Data Scientist at statworx since July 2022. Before that, they held the position of Postdoctoral Scientist at the Max Planck Institute for Brain Research, Frankfurt am Main, starting in January 2021. Dr. Florian also worked as a PHD Candidate at the same institute from November 2014 to December 2020. Prior to this, they served as a Master Thesis student at the Max Planck Institute of Neurobiology from November 2013 to October 2014. Dr. Florian gained experience as a Project Intern at NIMR from January 2013 to June 2013 and at NOXXON Pharma from February 2012 to April 2012. Additionally, they worked as a Student Research Assistant at the Max Planck Institute for Medical Research from December 2009 to November 2011 and as a Bachelor Thesis student at the DKFZ German Cancer Research Center from June 2011 to August 2011.

Dr. Florian Drawitsch has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Molecular Biotechnology from Heidelberg University, which they obtained from 2008 to 2011. Dr. Florian then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Molecular Biotechnology with a focus on Bioinformatics at the same university from 2011 to 2014. In 2017, Dr. Drawitsch earned a CORe (Credential of Readiness) from Harvard Business School Online. In terms of additional certifications, they have completed various courses on Coursera, including Mathematics for Machine Learning: Linear Algebra and Multivariate Calculus, Bayesian Statistics: From Concept to Data Analysis, Convolutional Neural Networks, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, Applied Machine Learning in Python, and Introduction to Data Science in Python.
