Christopher Stauffer has had a long and varied career in the software and technology industry. Christopher began their career as a Consultant at Deloitte in 1999. In 2000, they moved to Toshiba America as a Senior Consultant/Architect. Christopher then founded Stauffer, a privately held software consulting firm located in Los Angeles, CA, in 2000. In 2003, they became CTO at SearchFast Inc., where they were responsible for day to day IT operations and designing and developing two new product offerings. In 2004, they were a Database Engineer at Sony Connect and in 2005 they were a Senior Business Analyst at Nestlè FoodServices and a Senior Consultant at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC). In 2006, they were a Senior Program Manager/Storefront Engineering Manager at InfoSpace Inc. and in 2008 they became a CTO (Consultant) at TOKYOPOP.

Christopher Stauffer has a diverse educational background. In 1991, they graduated from Rainier High School. Christopher then attended Oregon State University from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a BS in Business Management Information Systems. In 2018, they received a Master of Business Administration - MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, with a focus on Negotiation and Influence.
