Ahmadou Seck

Ahmadou Seck has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the entertainment industry. Ahmadou has worked as the Vice President of Scripted TV at MACRO since July 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Development at MACRO Television Studios from September 2019 to October 2021.

Before joining MACRO, Ahmadou worked at Overbrook Entertainment as a Creative Executive from January 2017 to August 2018. In this role, they managed and coordinated production for COBRA KAI on YouTube Premium, pitched television shows and features to networks, and identified new writers and directors for projects.

Ahmadou also gained experience in the nonprofit sector as a Board Member at Independent Colleges of Washington, where they assisted with the development and execution of strategic plans from July 2011 to May 2017.

Furthermore, Ahmadou has worked at Participant Media as an Executive Assistant to the EVP of Original Programming from May 2015 to September 2016. Ahmadou provided creative notes on television shows, organized department meetings, and served as a liaison between different departments.

Prior to that, Ahmadou was involved in talent management and production coordination at Creative Artists Agency from August 2012 to May 2015. Ahmadou coordinated talent contracts, researched placement opportunities, and facilitated deal-making for company clients.

Ahmadou also has experience in video production as a Co Producer at the American Film Institute from January 2012 to April 2012. Ahmadou oversaw all phases of production for a film and collaborated with crew members to develop creative content.

Earlier in their career, Ahmadou was a student at Saint Martin's University from August 2007 to December 2011, and also served as a Resident Advisor from May 2008 to May 2010. Ahmadou created a thriving community for residents and managed confidential student information.

Lastly, Ahmadou worked as a Corporate Communications Assistant at Black Enterprise, where they communicated company news, pitched stories, and maintained strategic partnerships for effective communication.

Ahmadou Seck earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from Saint Martin's University in the years 2007 to 2011.
