Sherry Hamby-Vance

Sherry Hamby-Vance is an experienced Human Resources professional currently serving as the Executive Director of Human Resources at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital since April 2023. Sherry has a robust background in HR management, having previously held positions such as Director of Human Resources at Missouri Cobalt and Southeast Missouri Behavioral Health, where responsibilities included development of HR departments and management of extensive HR functions across multiple locations. Sherry's career also includes significant roles at US Tool Group, Pense Brothers Drilling Company, MOCAP, Inc., The Doe Run Company, and Southeast Missouri Community Treatment Center, showcasing expertise in staffing, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws. Sherry holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Webster University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Central Methodist University, complemented by certification in Health, Safety, and Environmental Technician.
