Feni Varughese

Feni Varughese has worked in the tech industry since 2012. In that time, they have held several positions at various companies. In 2012, they were an Engineering Co-Op at AMD, where they worked on the ruby driver interfaces to an underlying C++ library for new motherboards and created an Eclipse plugin to dynamically generate a GUI for XML configurations. From 2014 to 2019, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Indeed.com, where they were a technical lead, individual contributor, project and engineering mentor on Incubator/Labs. During this time, they worked on projects such as Chat, Scribe, and Campus. In 2019, they founded Informal.org, a bootstrapped startup with the mission of making programming accessible for everyone. In 2021, they became a Software Engineer at Steadily.

Feni Varughese received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin from 2009 to 2013.
