Lia van Eyk has a long and varied work experience. Olivia (Lia) began their career in 2008 as a Co-Founder, Vice-President of Marketing, Sales and Operations at Mafia Jewellery. In the same year, they also began working at the Public Health Agency of Canada as a Senior Policy Analyst, Strategic Relations, Policy Analyst, Stakeholder Relations, and Project Officer. In 2012, Lia began working at Brill Communications as a Regional Media. In 2015, they became Global Social Media Marketing at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. From 2017 to 2021, they held the roles of Head of Marketing, Marketing Acquisition and Communications Lead, and Digital Public Relations Lead at Onlia. In 2022, Lia joined the Association of National Advertisers (ANA) Global CMO Growth Council as a Growth Council.
Lia van Eyk is currently enrolled in the Oxford Executive Leadership Program at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford and the Executive MBA at NYU Stern School of Business. Olivia (Lia) obtained a BAH in Philosophy from Queen's University in 2008. From 2011 to 2017, they completed a Strategic Decision Making and Risk Management Certificate from Stanford University. Olivia (Lia) also holds several certifications, including Search Engine Optimization (SEO) from BrainStation (2018), Programmatic GOLD Certification from TubeMogul Academy (2016), Google AdWords Fundamentals from Google (2018), and Spredfast Conversations from Spredfast (2017). Lia is also scheduled to take the Foundations of Humane Technology course at the Center for Humane Technology in 2022.
