Joy Bhakat

Joy Bhakat began their career in 2009 as an Analyst in Equity Research at Credit Suisse. Joy then moved to Edelweiss Capital in 2010 as an Associate in Equity Research. In 2011, they joined Steadview Capital as Partner and Head of Investments. At Steadview, Joy leads the investment team and works closely with the Founder/CIO. Steadview is a leading global tech-focused hedge fund with over US$5 billion in assets under management. The fund has a crossover structure and makes concentrated long-term investments in both public markets and private equity with a primary focus on technology oriented businesses.

Joy Bhakat's education history includes an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta between 2008 and 2010, a B.Tech. from IIIT Hyderabad between 2004 and 2008, and being Deputy Head Boy at DPS Ranchi from 1996 to 2004, where they were also an NTSE Scholar.
