Jason Robinson

Jason Robinson is currently the VP of Data Science and Engineering at Steady, a position they have held since 2021. Prior to that, they were the Founder and CEO of Next Mountain from 2016 to 2021, where they built and released an exciting mobile application for personal optimization, built and launched several scalable SaaS products, and was responsible for full-stack engineering, architecture, devops, product development, design, and marketing. From 2020 to 2021, they were the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Multimodal LLC. From 2019 to 2020, they were the Director of Data Science at Turo. From 2018 to 2019, they were an Adjunct Professor of Law at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law. From 2012 to 2016, they were the Co-Organizer of SF Data Mining, where they helped grow the meetup to over 12,000 members. From 2012 to 2011, they were the Data Science Manager and Data Scientist at Origami Logic, where they built automated data products and prototyped and integrated a robust automated signal detection methodology. From 2011 to 2010, they were a Business Analyst at Trulia and an Advisor at Claro Ventures from 2010 to 2011. Jason was also a Fund Marketer at Aligned Partners from 2011 to 2012.

Jason Robinson's education history includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Physical Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley (1997-2002), a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology (2015-2021), a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management (2008-2010), a Graduate Certificate in Data Mining and Applications from Stanford University (2012-2014), and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemistry and Psychology from The University of Georgia (1992-1997).
