Kanishka Wickramarathna

Kanishka Wickramarathna is an experienced Backend Developer currently employed at ALFA Company since July 2025, with a focus on managing e-commerce operations using Magento 2. Prior to this role, Kanishka served as a Software Developer at Digybite and Lean Scale, both emphasizing critical e-commerce operations. Kanishka’s career began at Netstarter as a Senior Software Engineer, leading the development of several significant e-commerce projects, and acted as Lead Developer for various platforms. Previous roles included Software Engineer at Eyepax IT Consulting, where Kanishka developed key payment solutions for a digital advertising service, and Associate Software Engineer at Inova IT Systems, contributing to the design of a brokerage system. Kanishka holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Colombo School of Computing, completed in 2011.
