Alexander Shilyaev

Alexander Shilyaev is an experienced professional in the gaming and technology sectors, currently serving as the Founder of Steam Power Investments since January 2023. Previously, Alexander held significant roles at Melsoft from April 2015 to December 2022, including Executive Product Director, where responsibilities involved leading the 'Family Island' team, restructuring and scaling operations, and driving product strategy as CMO/COO. Alexander's career also includes extensive experience at Wargaming from December 2007 to March 2015, where positions ranged from Director of Global Operations to VP of Production, focusing on MMO game projects. Earlier roles included Art Development Director at Arise, Web Project Manager at Polimaster, and Chief of Quality Assurance at Red Graphic Systems. Alexander Shilyaev holds an MBA from INSEAD and a degree in Computer Science from Izhevsk State Technical University.
