Justin Hamilton

Justin Hamilton is a skilled mechanical engineer with extensive experience in locomotive maintenance and repair. Currently serving as Master Mechanic for the Steam Railroading Institute, Justin oversees locomotive operations and compliance while implementing modern engineering methods. Previous roles include Senior Mechanic at Texas State Railroad and San Luis & Rio Grande Railroad, focusing on steam and diesel locomotive restoration and repair. Justin's early career at The Henry Ford involved various responsibilities as a machinist, boilermaker, and locomotive engineer, complemented by a foundational role in welding and fabrication at Heber Valley Railroad. Justin is pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering at Tyler Junior College.
