Jeff Stern

Jeff Stern is a highly experienced Senior Look Development Artist at Steamroller Animation since July 2022, specializing in stylized character and environment look development, texture painting, and asset technical support. Prior to this role, Jeff founded Progressive Plant Therapeutics in May 2017, focusing on plant-based health products. Jeff's extensive background at Sony Pictures Imageworks from 2001 to 2016 includes significant positions as Look Development Lead and Lead Lighting Artist, contributing to major films such as "Suicide Squad," "The Amazing Spider-Man 2," and "Men in Black 3." Additional freelance experience includes work at RGH Themed Entertainment, The Mill, Method Studios, and SquareUSA, with a notable project being the lead lighting artist for "Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within." Jeff Stern holds a Master of Arts in Architecture from UCLA and a Bachelor's degree with Highest Honors in Design from the University of Florida.
