Thomas Bellamy

Thomas Bellamy is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Steamships' Logistics, after starting in PNG with Consort as General Manager from September 2019. Immediately prior to joining Consort Tom worked as General Manager Commercial for Swire Shipping – the Swire Group’s international multi-purpose shipping line which imports and exports much of PNG’s international container and breakbulk cargo. Tom brings management experience from both shipping and aviation roles in Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Prior to shipping Tom worked in various roles in aviation for the Cathay Pacific Group. Most recently he headed up Dragonair’s (now Cathay Dragon) Nepal operations, before moving to Bahrain to manage Cathay Pacific in Bahrain, Saudia Arabia and the broader Middle East region. Tom has also worked in London and Pakistan in consultancy and project management roles. Tom has an MA Hons in Classics from the University of Cambridge.
