Evita Parabirsing

Evita Parabirsing is an accomplished professional in the field of electrical power engineering with extensive experience at Stedin since 2010, currently serving as the Head of OT Infrastructure & Telecom since April 2017. This role involves overseeing the architecture, design, and operational management of critical digital infrastructure for the Stedin electricity grid. Prior positions at Stedin include Teamlead roles in Telecom Architecture and Engineering, as well as Engineering of grid Protection Automation Control, where responsibility encompassed high voltage project implementation and cyber secure OT infrastructure development. Evita also contributes to the NWO advisory board for demonstrator projects and is a consortium member of the Power System Protection Centre at TU Delft. Previous experience includes a Technical Consultant role at TenneT and board membership at Young Cigre the Netherlands. Evita holds an MSc in Electrical Power Engineering from Delft University of Technology and a BSc from Anton de Kom University of Suriname, along with ongoing studies at Nyenrode Business University.
