Timo Idema

Timo Idema is the current Director of Strategy & Regulation at Stedin, overseeing strategy, sustainability, regulatory, and public affairs since April 2024. Previously, Timo served as the Director of Asset Management at ProRail from January 2017 to March 2023, managing railway infrastructure maintenance, asset operations, and safety for the Dutch railway system. Timo's career encompasses roles at the Boston Consulting Group as Head of Strategy and Project Leader, as well as positions with the International Organization for Migration, including leading emergency response efforts. Further academic experience includes lecturing in politics at the University College, University of Oxford, and various roles in consulting and project management. Timo holds a DPhil in Politics from the University of Oxford, along with degrees from Princeton University and Utrecht University.
