Samantha McCanless Dettmer

Samantha McCanless Dettmer has a diverse work experience. Samantha began their career at Northstar Residential Properties in 2008 as a Hostess. In the same year, they also served as the Philanthropy Chair for Alpha Chi Omega.

In 2011, Samantha joined Steel Branding as an Executive Assistant and later transitioned to being a New Business Intern. During this time, they gained valuable experience in administrative support and new business development.

Continuing their journey at Steel Advertising, Samantha held various roles. From 2011 to 2017, they worked as the Director of Operations, where they oversaw finance, human resources, technology, and business development. Their responsibilities included financial reporting, sales projections, business development, hiring initiatives, and technology oversight.

In 2017, Samantha became the Chief Operating Officer at Steel Advertising, contributing to the stability and growth of the agency. Samantha took on the role of President in 2018, overseeing all internal operations and ensuring client success through quality assurance and metrics reporting.

Throughout their work experience, Samantha exhibited strong leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to promoting agency beliefs and goals.

Samantha McCanless Dettmer obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising from The University of Texas at Austin, where they were enrolled from 2007 to 2011.
