Nitesh Ranjan

Nitesh Ranjan has over fifteen years of experience in Environment and Sustainability, currently serving as Deputy General Manager at Steel Authority of India Limited from August 2007 to June 2025. Nitesh's expertise encompasses ESG, BRSR, GHG calculation, lifecycle assessment (LCA), environmental compliance, and circular economy initiatives. Previous roles include AGM and Senior Manager, where Nitesh coordinated with government bodies for environmental clearances and ensured compliance with various environmental regulations. Nitesh also worked as a Consultant at Tata Consultancy Services in the banking/finance domain and completed internships focused on descriptive and predictive analytics at Gramener Analytics. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and certifications in ESG and sustainability from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and IIT Bombay.
