Eric Schmitz, P.E., MBA, is a seasoned engineering professional with a diverse background in structural and technical service engineering. Currently serving as a Technical Service Engineer at Steel Construction Systems, Eric provides critical support to architecture, engineering, and construction professionals, focusing on cold-formed steel framing solutions. Previous roles include Design Engineer at Design Communications Ltd., where projects exceeded $1 million, and significant leadership positions within the PMI - Central Florida Chapter, where Eric enhanced project management practices. With foundational experience in structural design from Cuhaci & Peterson Architects and AB Design Group, along with project management insights gained from ITW Building Components Group and earlier roles, Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering and an MBA in Project Management.
