Robert Johns

Robert Johns has extensive experience in engineering and management, currently serving as Engineering Manager at Steel Dynamics, Inc. since September 2014, overseeing engineering, power distribution, information technology, and quality assurance. Prior roles include Manager of Galvanizing at Severstal NA from May 2007 to September 2014, Automation Engineer at ArcelorMittal from 2005 to 2007, and various positions at Bethlehem Steel Corp from 1976 to 2003, including Superintendent of Information Technology and Process Control Engineer. Robert Johns holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, obtained between 1972 and 1976, and completed secondary education at Jackson Memorial High School from 1968 to 1972.
