Shane Schuler

Shane Schuler is an accomplished professional in the aluminum manufacturing industry with extensive experience in operations management and engineering. Currently serving as Finishing Manager at Steel Dynamics, Inc. since July 2022, Shane previously held the role of General Manager Finishing Operations at Unity Aluminum, where significant contributions included plant design development and financial modeling for investor relations. Prior to Unity Aluminum, Shane spent eight years at Arconic as Lead Area Manager for Sheet Finishing, managing a large workforce and overseeing production and quality functions. Shane's career also includes leadership roles at Alcoa, where management of multiple departments involved responsibility for production and metallurgical processes. Shane holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering from Iowa State University.
