Steel Exchange India Limited is engaged in the business of manufacture and sale of iron and steel products, and generation and sale of power. The Company's principal business activities include Rebars (TMT) manufacturing, power and Rebars (TMT) trading. The Company offers various products, which include TMT Bars, Sponge Iron, Steel Billet and Wire Drawing. The Company's business divisions include Trading Division, Steel Ingot Division, Wire Products Division and Integrated Steel Plant. The Trading division deals with a range of products from finished steel products to related items, including semis, coal, scrap, Sponge Iron, among others. The Steel Ingot Division manufactures ingots using sponge iron and scrap/pig iron. The Wire Products Division produces high carbon steel wire products. The Integrated Steel Plant (ISP) of the Company is located at Vizianagaram District and consists of units, including Sponge Iron Unit, Rolling Unit and Captive Power Plant, among others.
