William Martin

William Martin, CFA®, CAIA® is currently the Chief Investment Officer at Steel Grove Capital Advisors since January 2022. Previously, they held various roles at Bondurant Futures, Inc. from August 1997 to January 2022, including Senior Strategist and Portfolio/Fund Manager, Head of Research, and Futures Broker. At Bondurant Futures, they employed innovative investment concepts, conducted extensive research and modeling, and developed strategies across multiple futures sectors. William also advised Mississippi River Investment C.T.A and managed client relations for hedge and speculative accounts. Prior to that, from August 1997 to August 2008, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at Outlier Investment Corporation, where they managed regulatory requirements and client development for a start-up C.T.A.

William Martin, CFA®, CAIA®, earned a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Science and Mechanics with a concentration in Biomedical Engineering and a minor in Business from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, from 1991 to 1996. In 1997, they obtained the Series 3 certification from the National Futures Association. In 2009, they became a Chartered Financial Analyst Charterholder through the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) institute. Additionally, in May 2022, William obtained the CAIA Charterholder from the CAIA Association.
