Mike Schutter

Mike Schutter has extensive experience in finance and corporate finance, spanning over two decades. Mike started their career at Motorola, where they held various roles such as Financial Planning/Cost Accountant and Division Business Planner. Mike subsequently became a Finance Manager/Operations Controller, overseeing global call centers and driving operational performance. Mike then served as a Business Planning Manager, negotiating outsourcing and software contracts, and later as a Business Operations Manager for Companion Products.

In 2004, Schutter was promoted to Senior Controller, managing North America Service and Warranty operations. Mike also served as the Senior Controller for Global Service and Warranty, overseeing a $900M+ spend and leading a team of 18 finance professionals across multiple regions.

In 2009, Schutter joined Intertape Polymer Group in a Corporate Finance role before moving to Knowles Corporation in 2010 as Vice President of Finance. Mike held this position for nearly a decade before joining Steel Partners Holdings in 2020 as SVP Finance.

Mike Schutter earned a BBA in Finance from the University of Iowa from 1990 to 1994. Mike then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management from 2012 to 2013.
