Daniel Obin, P.Eng, is an experienced engineer with a background in facilities and project engineering, currently serving as a Facilities Engineer at Steel Reef since December 2021. Daniel previously held the role of Project Engineer/Manager at Keyera, where responsibilities included team leadership, safety performance accountability, and management of the project delivery process. Additional experience includes positions as a Facilities Engineer at Murphy Oil Corporation, where Daniel directed engineering efforts and managed project construction, and earlier roles at Alberta Utilities Commission, Compton Petroleum, and O'Rourke Engineering Ltd., focused on pipeline systems and project execution. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Calgary, earned between 1996 and 1999.
