P.eng. Shawn Kavanagh

Shawn Kavanagh, P.Eng. is a Facilities Engineer with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently employed at Steel Reef since June 2021. Prior to this role, Shawn served as a Project Engineer at Husky Energy from January 2013 to January 2021, where responsibilities included cost reduction initiatives, project execution for sweet gas templated facilities, and oversight of Management of Change (MOCs) for facility optimization. Earlier professional experience includes a position as an Operator at bp from February 2009 to June 2010, focusing on inspection and maintenance of plant and well sites. Shawn holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Lakehead University and a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering Technology from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
